You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er generelt lite snø i regionen og snøoverflaten er påvirket av vind og mildvær. Den snøen som finnes er ujevnt fordelt og har samlet seg bak rygger og i forsenkninger i terrenget.

Natt til søndag kom det et par cm nysnø i regionen.

2-4 mm precipitation. Strong breeze from northeast, changing to breeze from the east during the afternoon. -8 °C to -3 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Monday 14. December 2020

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from southeast, changing to strong breeze from the southeast during the afternoon. -9 °C to -5 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det kalde og tørre været fortsetter, og eventuelle nysnøflak fra søndag vil gradvis stabiliseres. Vindøkning fra sørøst kan føre til at det dannes små fokksnøflak i nye leheng de få stedene det finnes litt løssnø. Den gamle snøpakken er stort sett stabil, men i enkelte leområder kan det fortsatt finnes fokksnø som er mulig å påvirke.
Lave temperaturer fremover gir gode forhold for både utvikling av kantkornlag nede i snødekket og overflaterim, men disse vil ikke utgjøre et problem før det kommer mer snø.
