Avalanches are possible to trigger in newly deposited wind slabs, and loose snow avalanches can be triggered naturally in sun faced slopes.

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Over mildvêrsgrensa vekslar snøoverflata mellom vindpåverka snø av ulik hardheit og skare. Under mildvêrsgrensa er det fuktig snø. I lavtliggande område har snødekket vore gjennomfukta, men høgare til fjells er det framleis lagdeling snøen.

Difor finst det framleis vedvarande svake lag, både relativt høgt og djupt i snødekket. Desse har vore, og er truleg framleis, vanskelege å påverke.

4 mm precipitation, up to 10 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 200 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from south, changing to fresh breeze from the southwest during renoon. -11 °C to -4 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from southeast, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast during renoon. -13 °C to -4 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det er generelt stabil snø. Fokksnøflak frå føregåande dagar vil ha stabilisert seg raskt med gunstige temperaturar og det vil også nye fokksnøflak som kan dannast utover dagen gjere. Skred vil vere lettast å løyse ut i høgda der det er aktiv vindtransport. Det kan også gå små laussnøskred i bratte sørvendte heng der sola får tak. Det skal truleg mykje til for å påverke vedvarande svake lag.
