Be careful in lee areas with wind deposited snow, typically behind ridges, ribs and in gullies. Buried surface hoar is a problem in some locations.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Snøoverflata er prega av variasjonar i temperatur den siste tida. Lange periodar med høg termeratur og har gjeve eit smeltomdanna snødekke høgt til fjells.

Det er godt med snø i regionen, særleg i aust- og nordvendte leområder. Snøgrensa ligg om lag på 400 moh.

Det finst kantkorn i snødekket, men eigenskapane er framleis ikkje ugunstige nok til å utgjere eit skredproblem.

No precipitation. Breeze from northwest, changing to breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -18 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

15 mm precipitation, up to 25 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 500 m a.s.l during the evening. Fresh breeze from northwest. -7 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Vind og lokalt mykje nysnø vil byggje ferske fokksnøflak i hovedsakleg søraustlege lesider. Stadvis kan flak ligge på svakt lag av kantkorn eller overflaterim og soleis vere lette å løyse ut. Flak som ligg på hardt og glatt underlag kan gå langt.
