You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

7-10 mm precipitation. Rain up to 1200 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from southeast, changing to breeze from the north during the afternoon. -1 °C to 3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Regn i snøen opprettholder faren for våte skred. Det kan være lett å løse ut skred i bratte heng. På utsatte plasser kan skred også løsne av seg selv.

Mot fjelltopphøyde kan ny snø og vind danne ferske nysnøflak. Her kan det være lett å løse ut mindre skred i den nye snøen.

Fortsatt fare for glideskred. Unngå opphold under glidesprekker.
