Etter flere dager med mildvær til fjelltopphøyde og fravær av nattefrost består snøoverflaten stort sett av våt eller fuktig smelteomvandlet snø. I lavlandet har det smeltet bort mye snø siste tiden. I høyden er det fortsatt mer snø enn normalt.

I bratte heng med våt, løs snø kan det fortsatt være lett å løse ut små løssnøskred. Dette vil være spesielt utpreget i høyden når nysnø fra de siste dagene får sol for første gangen.
Glideskred kan løsne av seg selv hele døgnet. Unngå opphold under glidesprekker og skavler.
