Be careful in lee areas with wind deposited snow, typically behind ridges, ribs and in gullies. Especially where the wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Regionen er for det meste snødekt til havnivå, men mykje av terrenget er kun dekt av det siste snøfallet. Det er generelt lite snø for årstida. Mildvêret forrige helg ga skare opp til ca 1000 moh. Denne er no dekt av snø dei siste dagane.

Det ligg ustabile fokksnøflak i alle himmelretningar som treng tid på å stabilisere seg. Dei ferskaste flaka vil ligge i nordvestlege leområder. Stadvis kan flak ligge på mildvêrskaren og soleis vere lette å løyse ut.
