The avalanche danger is decreasing. The snow pack is wet and loose. Skiers can trigger wet avalanches.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Lørdag er det mildt til de høyeste fjelltoppene og store nedbørsmengder som regn.

Snøoverflaten er våt i alle områder og høyder.

Hva som er status på gamle vedvarende svake lag etter mildværet er noe usikkert.

Lørdag er det registret mange våte skred, både flakskred og løssnøskred.

40 mm precipitation, up to 60 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as rain. Strong gale from southwest, changing to fresh breeze from the west during the afternoon. -2 °C to 3 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Sunday 20. March 2022

2-6 mm precipitation. Rain up to 900 m a.s.l during renoon. Moderate gale from southwest. 0 °C to 3 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Skredfaren ventes raskt å avta når nedbøren opphører.

Snødekket vil trolig være veldig vått og løst til fjelltopphøyde. Det vil være lett å løse ut skred for skiløpere i bratt terreng.

Under skoggrensen ventes snødekket å være råttent og krevende å ferdes i.
