You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

I nordvendte heng over 1000 moh ligg det framleis turr og lagdelt snø. Elles er snødekket stort sett smelteomvandla og stabilt.
Det er framleis mykje snø i fjellet. Snøgrensa stig gradvis og mot tregrensa, høgast i sørvendt terreng.

Det ble observert flere små og middels store skred de siste dagene. Mest i sammenheng med skavlbrudd. Mer skredaktivitet observert i Sunndal enn i Oppdal på onsdag

Fredag er det varmt og det vert meldt om meget våt og laus snø i Oppdal.

Avalanche risk assessment

Høge temperaturar og litt regn gjer at snøoverflata framleis vil vere mjuk og laus, og det vil vere mogeleg å løyse ut våte skred i bratt terreng. Skavlar vert også svekka i varmen.
Glideskred kan løysne av seg sjølv heile døgnet. Unngå opphald under glidsprekker.
