Landslides may be expected. Exposed roads may be closed.
Keep away from steep slopes, as well as streams and rivers with high discharge. Keep water paths and culverts free of snow, ice, gravel, waste, twigs and leaves. Clogged waterways with dammed water may cause landslides. River erosion may trigger minor soil slips, which again may reduce the soil stability along the river.
Relatively high temperatures and windy conditions causes significant snowmelting up to 30 mm/day. Groundwater and soil moisture are high. The expected hight snowmelt will increase the danger of landslides. The soil water content will continue to increase due to snowmelt. This will increase the danger of landslides along rivers and streams, and in slopes where there is snow.
