Landslides may be expected. Exposed railways and roads may be closed. Debris flows may reach the valley bottom even if they are triggered high in the terrain.
Keep yourself updated about the development of the weather, the landslide and flood situation, and follow the weather radar. Keep water paths and culverts free of snow, ice, gravel, waste, twigs and leaves. Clogged waterways with dammed water may cause landslides.
Landslides may be expected. Risk of slushflows is especially high in areas with more than 50 cm snow. The snow may in some places be fully water-saturated. Slushflows are triggered even in relatively gentle slopes, where water accumulates. Slushflows follow terrain depressions and may develop into debris flows. Heavy precipitation is expected, up to 50-70 mm within 24 hours, as rain under 600-1000 masl. Heavy snowmelt is expected due to high temperatures.
