Oppdatert informasjon -

Varslingsområdet for fredag 22. september er utvida med kommuner nord og øst i Hedmark og forlenga utover fredags kveld.

Consequence

Landslides may be expected. Exposed railways and roads may be closed. Debris flows may reach the valley bottom even if they are triggered high in the terrain.

Advice

Keep yourself updated about the development of the weather, the landslide and flood situation, and follow the weather radar. Keep water paths and culverts free of gravel, waste, twigs and leaves. Clogged waterways with dammed water may cause landslides. Keep away from steep slopes, as well as streams and rivers with high discharge.

Description

Steep slopes, as well as streams and rivers with high discharge, are particularly exposed. Rain is expected, followed by heavy showers in some places. Groundwater and soil moisture are high. The expected rain will increase the danger of landslides. The amount of precipitation, or its location, is somewhat uncertain. Follow the weather radar.
