Consequence
Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected due to accumulation of snow. Some journeys may have longer travel time. It can be locally difficult driving conditions. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads.
Advice
Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
Description
From Friday expected much snow in Nordfjord, Møre and Romsdal and Trøndelag, coinciding with increasing northwest wind. The weather situation is expected to last for several days.
