Consequence
Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected due to accumulation of snow. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads.
Advice
Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
Description
Wednesday 15-30 cm snow are expected, locally more. On the coast and lowlands in the south of Agder most of the precipitation comes as rain, from the afternoon the snow line decrease.
