Consequence

Risk of flooding of low-lying areas in densely populated areas. Check varsom.no for more information. Locally difficult driving conditions, especially at waterways. Roads may be closed. Some journeys may have longer travel time. The road surface can locally be covered by wet ice. Road conditions affected with road spray and hydroplaning in some places.

Consider the need for preventive measures. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors. Check road reports (175.no). Adjust the speed and use caution while driving.

Description

In northern part of Nordland and in the southermost part of Troms there is expected a lot of rain, locally around 30-50 mm in 12 hours, particularly in the last part of Monday and early Tuesday morning. In 24 hours there is expected at most around 60-90 mm.
