You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Sol og høye dagtemperaturer gjør at snøen i solutsatt terreng fuktes opp om dagen, og kalde nattetemperaturer gjør at det våte snødekket fryser til om natten. I skyggefullt terreng består snødekket i hovedsak av harde og igjenfrosset smelteformer.

Det finnes vedvarende svake lag både i forbindelse med skarelag og langs bakken mange steder i høyden. Disse har den siste tiden vært vanskelig å påvirke.

Torsdag ble et hus truffet av et lite skred Honningsvåg.

Avalanche risk assessment

Fortsatt mildvær, og like forhold som tidligere. Nattefrost har virket noe stabiliserende på snødekket, men når temperaturen stiger vil det enda være lett å løse ut skred i den våte snøen. Husk at også små skred kan gi konsekvenser nær terrengfeller.
