Be careful in areas with fresh wind deposited snow. Keep in mind that even small avalanches can have consequences if you fall into rocky terrain.

You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det ligger vindpåvirket snø i nordøst- og sørøstvendte leområder. Fokksnøen ligger noen steder på mildværsskaren som dannet seg forrige uke. Forøvrig er mye av snødekket påvirket av mildvær tidligere i uken, og består nå av fuktig snø.

Både under og over skoggrensen finner man avblåste steder ved rygger.

De siste dagene har det vært flere runder mildere vær. Mandag ble det målt 3 grader på ca 130 moh.

2-4 mm precipitation. Precipitation as snow. Breeze from south. -10 °C to -4 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Saturday 18. February 2023

Little to no precipitation. Fresh breeze from south. -8 °C to -6 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Generelt stabilt snødekke, men vær varsom i områder som har samlet mer snø. Her kan det fortsatt være mulig å løse ut skred.

Fortsatt kalde temperaturer vil virke stabiliserende der snødekket fortsatt er fuktig.
