Avalanche warning for region Finnmarkskysten Tuesday 21.02.2023
Danger level 1 - Low avalanche danger
Published:
Generally stable conditions, but be careful in steep terrain, especially where wind-deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here. Be careful to avoid sliding accidents on hard and refrozen snow.
Below you can see a description of the current snow cover information and current weather forecast in the mountains. If your observations deviate greatly from what is described here, the warning will not necessarily apply either. Always make your own judgments or stay away from avalanche terrain.

Advice
The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.
Avalanche risk assessment
We provide daily avalanche forecast in the period between 1st of December until 31st of May. Please remember that the forecast is intended as an aid and not the absolute truth.
