You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det gamle snødekket er smelteomdannet. Torsdag formiddag var det skare mange steder etter at kaldere vær hadde ført til gjenfrysning. Det begynner å bli lite snø i regionen, men stedvis ligger det flekker med snø ned til havnivå.

Fredag kom det rundt 6 mm nedbør i Mehamn og Honningsvåg.

Generelt stabile forhold. Der hvor snøen er våt og myk kan det løses ut små løssnøskred i brattheng.

På grunn av plussgrader også i de høye fjellområdene i indre strøk, kan det ikke utelukkes at det kan løsne et og annet vått flakskred der pga. vann som samler seg opp over gamle skarelag.

Hold god avstand til skavler som svekkes i varmen.
