You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøoverflaten består av mye løs snø som hovedsakelig har kommet siden lørdag i forrige uke. Under denne snøen er det ingen såle, bortsett fra høyt til fjells.
I skogen ligger snøen jevnt fordelt. Fra skoggrensa og oppover har vinden gjort at snøen er mer ujevnt fordelt. Det er mest snø og mulig skiføre i vest- og nordvendt terreng.
Det er mest snø i midtre deler av regionen, over 900 moh.

Dannelse av overflaterim er observert flere steder.
Det er mye løs snø tilgjengelig for transport.
