When the sun comes out, the danger will rise in areas where the snow becomes wet and soft.

on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Snøoverflata ber preg av vind frå N-NV og varierer mellom avblesen skare/fjell og fokksnø. Det er mest snø i aust- og sørvendte leområder. Det er relativt store variasjonar på snømengd innand i regionen. Det er generelt lite snø for årstida.
