Saturday 29. April 2023

Det lite snø i lavlandet, og skiføret begynner på rundt 300 moh. I fjellet er det litt tørr ubundet snø over den gamle smelteomdanna snøpakka. Fredag ble det meldt om tørr overflate på 500 moh og fint skiføre i høyden. Den gamle snøpakka er stort sett helt smelteomdannet opp til 1000 moh.

0-3 mm precipitation. Rain up to 600 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from southeast, changing to breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -14 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Sunday 30. April 2023

5 mm precipitation, up to 12 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 400 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from southwest. -11 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det ventes en del nysnø og lokalt sterk nok vind til å flytte snø. Over tregrensen kan det på vindutsatte steder bli snøtransport som gir ferske flak med fokksnø i leområder. Det være lett for en skiløper å løse ut skred så lenge pålagringen pågår. Milde temperaturer gjør at stabiliseringen går fort i de laveste områdene, mens det høyt til fjells kan ta lenger tid.

I lavlandet begynner det å bli lite snø, og snøen drenerer trolig vannet godt etter mye mildvær den siste tiden. Det ventes derfor lite skredaktivitet her.
