• Recent snowdrift • Area: At this place. Description: PCT: after first 10 taps a dry snow slab released at 30cm depth. The area was leeside of wind and approximately 60cm of new snow over old and still wet snow. Shows a weak bonding between layers of new snow.
In the picture: bottom glove at old snow, upper glove at the point of release between the new layers.
The observation was done at 660m vertical around 35 degree slope and near the shelter of a big rock.
