Danger Sign
• Whumpf sound • Område: På dette stedet
• Recent snowdrift • Generelt på fjellet. Vind fra SV
Avalanche Activity
• 29. Nov. During the day (+01:00) • No avalanche activity
Weather
• Snow • -3 °C • 5 m/s from SW ↗ • 100% clouds • Bygevær. Tidvis dårlig sikt og snøvær. Tidvis lettere. Relativt kraftig snøfokk da det sto på
Snow Cover
• 50 cm • Moderate snow drift • 20 cm • Elevation of new snow 0 masl. Snow line at 0 masl.
Avalanche Problems
• Dry slab avalanche • Buried weak layer of new snow • Within half a meter • The overlying slab is soft. • Easy to trigger • 2 - Medium • Some steep slopes N, NE, E, NW above 700 masl • En microskavel sprakk opp og sklei ut i 5m lengde.
• Dry slab avalanche • Buried weak layer of surface hoar • Within half a meter • The collapsing weak layer is thin < 3 cm. The overlying slab is soft. A big and identifiable crystal in the weak layer. • Very easy to trigger • 2 - Medium • Some steep slopes N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW above 700 masl • Vanskelig å si noe om utbredelsen på dette.
• Dry slab avalanche • Buried weak layer of faceted snow beneath a crust • Within half a meter • The overlying slab is soft. Fokksnøen ligger mest i NØ sider
Avalanche Danger Assessment
Her må folk tenke over sine veivalg i en stund fremover.
• 3 Considerable
