I midten av uken kom det en del nedbør. Perioder med kraftig vind har dannet fokksnøansamlinger i høyden, men disse har stabilisert seg raskt på grunn av milde temperaturer.
Under 300-500 moh er snøen fortsatt fuktig eller frosset og stabilt.

4-6 mm precipitation. Rain up to 400 m a.s.l during the evening. Breeze from southwest, changing to strong breeze from the south during the evening. -12 °C to -3 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Saturday 5. March 2022

6 mm precipitation, up to 12 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 500 m a.s.l Saturday night. Fresh breeze from southwest. -5 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Lokalt kan det ha dannet seg ustabile fokksnøflak etter kraftig vind natt til lørdag. Fortsatt vind og bygevær gjennom dagen vil kunne gir pålagring av fokksnø i enkelte heng. Skred er lettest å løse ut i område hvor ferske fokksnøflak er myke og/eller tynne.
