Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Siste dagers varme og nedbør som regn har ført til et smelteomvandlet og vått snødekke opp til fjelltopphøyde, med fuktig nysnø på de høyeste toppene. I nordlig sektor, høyt til fjells, har sannsynligvis ikke varme klart å smelteomvandle hele snødekket enda.
Snøgrensa ligger på ca. 200 moh med lite snø under ca. 500 moh.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det ventes ytterligere regn i dag, men snødekke viser generelt god evne til drenering etter mange dager med mildvær. Enkelte naturlig utløste skred kan forekomme, men utbredelsen og sannsynligheten for dette antas å være liten.

Det vil fortsatt være mulig for en skiløper å løse ut våte løssnøskred i bratt terreng. Husk at også mindre skred kan bli farlige i kombinasjon med terrengfeller, spesielt når snøen er såpass tung som den er nå.

Hold god avstand til skavler som er svekket av mildværet.
