You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det ligg faste fokksnøflak i leområder etter snøværet sist helg. Fokksnøen er seig og spenningslaus. Det ligg litt laus snø tilgjengeleg for vind i skjerma formasjonar i høgda. Lågare i fjellet er snøen meir varmepåvirka og i ferd med å bli grovkorna. Den eldre snøen er i hovudsak stabilisert. Ryggar og toppar er avblåst.

Det er kantkorn i snødekket i høgda, men det er ikkje meldt som eit aktivt skredproblem.

1-3 mm precipitation. Strong breeze from southeast, changing to breeze from the southwest during the evening. -4 °C to 1 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Delvis klarvær og tørr luft frå aust gir nedkjøling og uttørking av snødekket på natt og tidlig på dagen. Aukande varme og sol utpå dagen kan kortvarig svekke snødekket og gi våte skred i svært bratt terreng utpå dagen. Denne kulde-/ varme- syklusen er stabiliserande for snødekket, og gir ein gradvis overgang til grovkorna snø.
