Complex and difficult situation with two avalanche problems. Be very careful and avoid avalanche terrain where the avalanche problems can be present, especially in poor visibility.

Det ligger mye løs snø i terrenget etter snøbyger fra nordvest i flere dager. Det gamle snødekket er i stor grad smelteomdanna og gjenfrosset etter mildvær opp til ca 1500 moh 19. desember. Det er lite såle under 600 moh.

Lørdag er det kraftige snøbyger med snøfokk i lavlandet i Sunndalen.

15 mm precipitation, up to 30 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Strong breeze from northwest. -11 °C to -6 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Sunday 26. December 2021

12 mm precipitation, up to 18 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 100 m a.s.l. Fresh breeze from northwest. -10 °C to -6 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Det fortsetter med snøbyger også søndag. I fjellet ventes det at det er nok vind til at nysnøflakene utvikles videre. Her kan en skiløper løse ut skred i mange heng. Det er vinden som styrer skredproblemet, der det ikke ligger vindtransportert snø kan løssnøskred løsne naturlig i bratt terreng.
