Høge temperaturar har påverka snøoverflata, og har fukta snøoverflata i alle himmelretingar. Toppar og ryggar er stort sett avblåst.

I det gamle snødekket kan det framleis finnast vedvarande svake lag med kantkorn frå rundt 1400moh og oppover.

Det er observert glideskred på Haukelifjell fredag.

Observasjonar viser at det er mykje fuktigheit i snøen og snødekket byrjar å bli smelteomvandla og homogent, bortsett frå nokre skarelag, opp til 1400 moh.

Sunday 22. April 2018

6 mm precipitation, up to 12 mm in the most exposed areas. Breeze from southeast, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast during the afternoon. -4 °C to 2 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Høge temperaturar og regn vil føre til aukande skredfare i løpet av dagen. Våte skred vil kunne løysne naturleg, Mest truleg vil dei kome i form av våte laussnøskred, men der det finst skarelag i snødekket som gjev opphopningar av vatn kan det også gå flakskred. Ver merksam på at skavlar kan knekke og falle ned. Det er også fare for glideskred i områder der slike brukar og gå.
