Generally stable conditions. Rising temperatures and solar radiation increase the risk to trigger small wet avalanches during daytime. Glide avalanches are possible. Keep distance from cornices and areas with glide-cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snødekket er fuktig til topps. Under skoggrensa er snøen stort sett våt og løs. Over skoggrensa er det hardere snø under våt løssnø. I høyfjellet kan det finnes rester av lagdelinger og skarelag i snødekket, men smeltevann drenerer stort sett gjennom.

Stort sett varmegrader i alle høydenivå den siste uken frem til natt til fredag.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket vil tørke opp, og faren for naturlig utløste våte løssnøskred synker. Der det kom litt nysnø i høyfjellet natt til fredag ventes det meste å ha løsnet når solen kom og temperaturen steg fredag. Hold avstand til skavler og bratte heng med glidesprekker.
