Sun and high temperatures gives higher risk of wet loose-snow and slab avalanches in steep sun-exposed terrain. Keep a good distance to cornices.

Avalanches may release spontaneously on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Snøen er for det meste våt eller fuktig, men om natta kan det fryse på og bli skare. I nordvendte fjellsider over ca. 1000 moh kan det moglegeins finnast tørr snø.

I fjellet finst det kantkorn i snødekket og med bakken, men desse er vanskelege å påverke.

Fredag var det observert eit glideskred frå Vrålskred i Valle.

No precipitation. Breeze from southeast. -9 °C to 7 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Clear skies.

Soloppvarming vil svekke snøen og kunne gje våte laussnøskred i bratte fjellsider. Der snøen er fukta til bakken er det fare for glideskred. Snøskredfaren er størst på ettermiddagen, når sola er på sitt varmaste.
