Dangerous avalanche conditions due to large amounts of new snow and strong winds during the last week. Natural avalanches are likely. Avoid avalanche terrain and run-out zones. Road closures are in effect.

You can easily trigger avalanches on many steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

You can easily trigger avalanches on many steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3). Remote triggering is possible.

Vinden vil flytte tilgjengelig løs snø over i leområder og det vil være stor pålagring i allerede velfylte leområder og på skavler. Naturlig utløste skred forventes, og skred kan løsne i både vedvarende svakt lag og i ustabil fokksnø. Skred kan bli store dersom de går i heng der det enda ikke har gått skred. Fare for skred på vei. Varselet er basert på et enklere datagrunnlag enn regionale varsler og utgis kun for faregrad 4 og 5.
