Snøoverflata vekslar i hovudsak mellom skare og vindpåverka fokksnø. I lavtliggande område har snøen vore gjennomfukta, men høgare til fjells er det framleis lagdeling snøen.

Difor finst det framleis vedvarande svake lag, både relativt høgt og djupt i snødekket. Desse har vore, og er truleg framleis, vanskelege å påverke.

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from southeast, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast during renoon. -13 °C to -4 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

2-6 mm precipitation. Precipitation as snow. Moderate gale from south, changing to fresh breeze from the northwest during the evening. -18 °C to -12 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Skred kan vere lette å løyse ut eller losne av seg sjølv i fersk fokksnø over mildvêrsgrensa frå laurdag. Mest snø vil truleg samle seg i godt skjerma terrengformer som renner og botnar. Det skal truleg mykje til for å påverke vedvarande svake lag.
