The snowpack is isothermal and homogeneous. But be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, small wet avalanches may occur. Keep distance to cornices and areas with glide-cracks.

Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

1-3 mm precipitation. Rain up to 300 m a.s.l during the evening. Breeze from northwest, changing to fresh breeze from the south during the evening. -3 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Hvis sola kommer fram kan det løsne enkelte små våte løssnøskred i svært bratt terreng. Særlig på de høyeste toppene der det kan ha kommet litt nysnø 17. mai forventes det løssnøskred.
Husk at selv små skred kan være farlige i kombinasjon med terrengfeller.
Hold god avstand til skavler.
