Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here. Be also careful in areas with fresh wind deposited snow, especially close to terrain traps. Keep distance to cornices and areas with glide-cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.

Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Snødekket er generelt preget av smelteformer med noe nysnø over ca 1200 moh. På de høyeste fjelltoppene finnes det fortsatt innslag av tørr snø i terreng vendt mot nord. Snøfordelingen er ujevn. Etter en snøfattig vinter er det nå lite snø igjen øst i regionen under ca. 1200-1400 moh. Mer snø vest i regionen, særlig i terreng mot øst og nord.

2 mm precipitation, up to 8 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 1400 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from west. -2 °C to 4 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.
