You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Det ligger litt nysnø i overflata over 700 moh fra siste dager. Tidligere i uka var det mildvær opptil 1100-1200 moh. Topper og rygger er avblåst. Det ligger mest snø i nordvendte leheng, men det er store variasjoner i regionen. Det eldre snødekket er smelteomvandla til fjelltopphøyde. Det er lite snø under 500 moh, og generelt lite snø for årstida.

17 mm precipitation, up to 30 mm in the most exposed areas. Strong breeze from south. -1 °C to 1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Saturday 27. March 2021

4 mm precipitation, up to 9 mm in the most exposed areas. Breeze from south, changing to fresh breeze from the west during the afternoon. -4 °C to 0 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Kaldere vær utover dagen gjør at skredfaren avatar. Det våte snødekket ventes å drenere smeltevann og stabilisere seg raskt, men vær fortsatt forsiktig i bratt terreng og ved skavler. Over fredagens mildværsgrense kan det finnes ustabile fokksnøflak i de høyeste fjellområdene.
