You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Mildvær og regn opp til ca 1000 moh har gitt mye smelting og et gjennomvått snødekke i lavere områder. Mildværsgrensen har variert mye og natt til onsdag snødde det ned mot 400 moh. I høyden er det fokksnøflak av varierende hardhet etter mye snø og kraftig vind.

Kantkorn ved bakken og delvis utvikla kantkorn høyere i det gamle snødekket kan stedvis finnes i høyden. Stort sett svært vanskelig å påvirke. Dette regnes ikke som et aktivt skredproblem i regionen.

Little to no precipitation. Strong breeze from northwest, changing to breeze from the southwest during renoon. -9 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det kan fremdeles være lett å løse ut skred. Særlig første del av dagen. Store flakdannelser i høyden trenger tid for å stabilisere seg. Vær ekstra varsom i høyden der fokksnøen er tørr.

Vær obs på at en vindøkning om kvelden kan øke skredfaren. Snøfokk er faretegn.
