It is possible to trigger small wet avalanches in steep sunfacing terrain, or small wind deposited slabs high up.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snøen er hard og bærande dei fleste stader i fjellet. Mykje av det er smelteomdanna og grovkorna. Solsider mjukner opp utpå ettermiddagen dersom det er skyfritt. Aust i regionen er det noko meir finkorna snø i overflate etter siste snøfall.

Det er observert rim i overflata både aust og vest i regionen.

I enkelte lune områder kan sola få tak og skiløpar kan løyse ut små våte laussnøskred.

Vinden vil kjøle ned snøen i meir opne områder og motvirke sola sin oppvarming.

Ved dei høgaste toppane er det mogleg å løyse ut små skred i fokksnø i bratte heng. Dersom det er snøfokk på toppane vil fokksnø være ferskare og lettare å løyse ut.
