You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Etter flere dager med mildvær til fjelltopphøyde og fravær av nattefrost består snøoverflaten stort sett av våt eller fuktig smelteomvandlet snø. De siste dagene har det smeltet mye og under 300 - 600 moh kan det være bart. Fortsatt er det mer snø enn normalt i fjellet.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekket er stort sett stabilt, men i bratt terreng med våt, løs snø er det mulig å løse ut løssnøskred. Det kan også være opphopning av vann i snøen som kan føre til våte flakskred.
Glideskred kan løsne der det er forhold for det, for eksempel der underlaget er svaberg. Unngå terreng under glidesprekker.
