Etter flere dager med mildvær til fjelltopphøyde og fravær av nattefrost består snøoverflaten stort sett av svært våt til fuktig smelteomvandlet snø. De siste dagene har det smeltet mye, og under 300 - 600 moh. kan det være bart. Det er fortsatt mer snø enn normalt i fjellet.
