Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

New snow (slab avalanches)

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Regn og stigende temperaturer den siste uka har gjort snøoverflaten våt og fuktig oppover i fjellet. I fjellet kan det ligge tørrere flak av nysnø og fokksnø etter perioder med snø og vind de siste dagene.

Rundt skare fra 23. april har det vært temperaturgradient og utviklet seg kantkorn. Utviklingen og egenskapene har variert, men de fleste steder har kornene vært små og laget har ikke utgjort et tydelig skredproblem.

De siste dagene har det blitt observert mange små til middels store løssnøskred i regionen. Flest skred er observert i sørlig og vestlig sektor.

9 mm precipitation, up to 15 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 400 m a.s.l Monday night. Fresh breeze from northwest, changing to breeze from the northwest during the evening. -6 °C to 0 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.
