Several weak layers of facets in the snowpack can be triggered in areas where the snowpack is thin or soft. Avalanches can become large. Thursday's snowfall is not expected to cause any problems. Smaller wind slabs could form ontop of weak layers.

You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2). Remote triggering is possible.

Det har kommet et par centimeter med relativt lite vind det siste døgnet. Under er snødekket i stort sett hardt og vindpåvirket i alle himmelretninger. Det er generelt lite snø i terrenget.

Klarvær og kalde forhold har ført til utvikling av kantkorn høyt i snødekket.

Det finnes flere kantkornlag rundt skarelag nede i snøen og langs bakken. Disse lagene er stort sett vanskelig å påvirke men særlig med har vist sporadiske tegn til at det er mulig å påvirke.

3 mm precipitation, up to 8 mm in the most exposed areas. Precipitation as snow. Fresh breeze from south, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast. -20 °C to -14 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.
