You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er kommet ca. 10-20 cm nysnø siste døgn. Mildværet fra tidligere i uka har gjennomfuktet det gamle snødekket opp til 500-600 moh., og gitt en fuktig snøoverflate høyt til fjells. Kaldere vær fra midten av uka og frem til i dag gjør at det nå er en knallhard skare på snøoverflaten. Det er trolig kun de høyeste fjellene over 900-1000 moh. som ikke er påvirket av mildværet.

Det som eventuelt er igjen av svake lag i snødekket ligger nå under et hardt skarelag, eller om du er høyt til fjells, under store mengder fokksnø.

Det er observert begynnende kantkorndannelse i overgangen mellom tørr og våt snø, men det utgjør trolig ikke noe problem per nå.

2-4 mm precipitation. Rain up to 100 m a.s.l Saturday night. Fresh breeze from east. -16 °C to -3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

I høyden over 400 moh. så kan det være mulig å løse ut skred i ferske nysnøflak fra siste døgn.

Mildværet fra tidligere i uken etterfulgt av kaldere temperaturer gjør at snødekket har fryst til og at det trolig ikke er noe aktivt skredproblem i lavereliggende områder.
