Generally stable conditions, but be careful in steep terrain, especially where wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er generelt få heng i fjellet som har et ustabilt snødekke for øyeblikket. Det er likevel i disse hengene skiføret kan være best og skiløpere vil oppsøke. Vær derfor oppmerksom i overgangen mellom harde og myke flak. De små ustabile fokksnøflakene kan ligge i alle himmelretninger. Husk at selv små skred på isete overflate eller tynt snødekke kan medføre alvorlige konsekvenser på grunn av oppstikkende stein.
