Hard vind og litt nysnø legg opp fokksnø av ulik hardheit i leområder. Eldre snødekke er også prega av hard vind og mildvær med både regn og snø. Enkelte stader er det blåst fram skare og glasert, hard snø. Skjerma botnar ved dei høgaste toppane kan ha eldre mjuk fokksnø.

Det er kantkorn rundt skarelag djupare i snødekket, men det er ikkje rekna som eit aktivt skredproblem.

Søndag er det registrert ferske middels store skred ved Fjellsetra/ Strandafjellet og i høgda ved Seljebottstinden.

2 mm precipitation, up to 7 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 500 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Moderate gale from southwest, changing to gale from the south during the afternoon. -9 °C to -2 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Kraftig vind og litt nysnø vil legge opp ferske fokksnøflak i leområder. Desse flaka kan være lett å løyse ut av skiløpar.

Det er lite eldre snø tilgjengeleg for vinden, men bak større henteområder kan det bli flak av ein viss storleik. Store områder vil dermed ha mindre flak, hardare snø og lågare skredfare.
