Generally stable avalanche conditions. Use caution in areas where the sun makes the snow surface wet and soft, around cornices and with wind deposited snow in the alpine.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er lite snø i lavlandet, men snøgrensa innad i regionen varierer. Generelt er det bart opp til ca. 300 moh. i sør og vestvendte sider, og noe lavere i øst og nordvendte sider.
Snødekket består av smelteomvandlet og våt snø høyt til fjells.

Mildvær de siste dagene har trolig nøytralisertkantkorndannelse høyt i snødekket mellom nysnø fra forrige uke og gammelt skarelag.

Mandag ble det observert naturlig utløste str. 1 løssnøskred.

Avalanche risk assessment

Mildvær flere dager i strekk og fravær av nattefrost har gjort snødekket vått høyt til fjells.

I bratt terreng vil det være lett for en skiløper å løse ut våte løssnøskred. Enkelte naturlig utløste skred er også mulig der solen titter frem. Husk at også mindre skred kan bli farlige i kombinasjon med terrengfeller, spesielt når snøen er såpass tung som den er nå.

Det kan løsne enkelte våte flakskred pga. opphopning av vann i snødekket, men utbredelsen og sannsynligheten for dette antas å være liten. Utvis ekstra varsomhet i områder med svaberg.

Hold god avstand til skavler som er svekket av mildværet.
