You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er lite snø for årstiden. I fjellet er snøen ujevnt fordelt. I leheng kan det være en god del snø, andre steder helt avblåst, med bare rygger og oppstikkende stein. Under tregrensa og opp til 400 moh er snødekket gjennomfuktet. Over tregrensa er det skare/is eller fuktig fokksnø.

Little to no precipitation. Calm/light breeze from southeast. -7 °C to -1 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Sunday 19. February 2023

4-6 mm precipitation. Precipitation as snow. Breeze from south, changing to strong breeze from the northeast during the afternoon. -6 °C to -1 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Nysnø som har samlet seg i helgen kan dra på flyttefot når vinden øker utover ettermiddagen.
Unngå områder i bratt terreng der snøen har samlet seg, her kan det være lett å løse ut små skred.

Vær oppmerksom på at det kan være svært hardt på mildværsskare som nå er frosset til.
