It’s mainly stable snow, but it is possible to trigger small avlanches in steep terrain with wet snow. Keep a safe distance to cornices and glide cracks.

Avalanches may release spontaneously on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Etter ei periode med varmt og fint vêr har tæra på snødekket. Det er generelt bart under 800 moh, men snøgrensa kan variere. Snøen er smelteomvandla, grovkorna og fuktig eller våt.

15 mm precipitation, up to 20 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 1700 m a.s.l Tuesday night. Breeze from northwest. -2 °C to 5 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Generelt er det stabile tilhøve, med vårsnø som drenerer godt og ei snøgrense som kryp oppover. I enkelte bratte heng er det likevel mogleg å løyse ut laussnøskred sidan fråvær av nattefrost og regn gjer at det blir mykje vatn i snøen. Skredfara er høgast medan det regnar, og då kan eitt og anna skred gå naturleg. Skavlbrot og glideskred kan førekomme.
