Be careful on steep slopes with soft and wet snow, a skier can trigger avalanches here. Pay extra attention to sun exposed slopes. Keep distance to cornices and areas with glide-cracks.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Regionen har et vårlig snødekke og snøoverflaten består i hovedsak av smelteomvandlet snø. Det er synlige eldre skredmasser i mange fjellsider.
Snøgrensa ligger på ca 200 moh.

Det rapporteres om mange naturlig utløste våte løssnøskred de siste dagene.

5-8 mm precipitation. Precipitation as rain. Fresh breeze from northeast, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast during renoon. -2 °C to 4 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Snødekkets stabilitet styres av solinnstråling og eventuell gjenfrysing om natta. I fjellsider med våt og myk snø vil skiløpere kunne løse ut middels store skred. Noen små våte løssnøskred kan løsne av seg selv. Ved hard og bærende snøoverflate vil skredfaren være liten.
Hold god avstand til glidesprekker og skavler.
