You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Overflaten er i hovedsak smelteomvandlet og varierer mye i hardhet gjennom døgnet. Det finnes litt innblåst tørr snø i leformasjoner i høyfjellet. På utsatte plasser er det avblåst ned til skare.

Onsdag meldes det om lokalt mye vann i snøen i lavereliggende områder i Vinje. Natt til torsdag var det fra 1 til 8 minusgrader i regionen.

2-6 mm precipitation. Rain up to 800 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from southeast. -4 °C to 2 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Friday 26. April 2024

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from southeast, changing to calm/light breeze from the southeast during the afternoon. -7 °C to 3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Generelt stabile forhold. Snødekket er hardt og igjenfrosset. Det er utglidningsfare på hard og glatt skare i bratt terreng.

I bratte, solvendte sider kan skiløpere løse ut små våte løssnøskred utover dagen.

Det kan finnes eldre fokksnøflak i leformasjoner høyt til fjells som noen få steder kan løses ut av skiløpere.
