Green level (NVE)

Avalanche

Complex situation. Different approaches to wet and dry snow cover are recommended. Wet avalanches can release in steep terrain in lower areas. Wind slabs can be a problem at high elevations. The weak layers from the last weak are generally hard to trigger, but avalanches can still become large in some places. (NVE)

Nord-Troms

Complex situation. In the lower areas, rain in the first part of the day can cause naturally released wet avalanches. In the alpine, fresh wind slabs can cause problems. Weak layers are still around in the snowpack. They are generally very hard to trigger, but can possibly cause large avalanches. (NVE)

Lyngen

Complex situation. Wet loose snow avalanches can occur in lower elevations. In the alpine, use caution in areas with recently formed storm slabs. Avoid cornices and terrain underneath them. There are still weak layers in the snowpack, which seems generally hard to trigger, but avalanches here can get big. (NVE)

Tromsø

Newly formed wind slabs can be triggered in the alpine. Avoid recently loaded, steep slopes. Some smaller wet avalanches are like the first part of the day. Old persistent weak layers are still lingering but are very hard to trigger. This problem is dormant until the next significant warming period. (NVE)

Sør-Troms

Complex situation, where different approaches to wet and dry snow cover are needed. Rain will lead to wet snow avalanche activity in terrain under 600 masl. At higher elevations fresh wind slabs may cause problems. There are still lingering weak layers deeper in the snowpack, but these seem generally hard to trigger. (NVE)
